“The videos were brilliant but the group support was really what made our journey. The way the discussion was managed and the conversations we had were so helpful. It’s helped me understand and deal with a lot of my pain, hurt and confusion. It’s help me understand why I feel the way I feel. I’m so grateful for this course and the leaders who ran it, just brilliant. Thank you so much.”
-
“Love it! Have already recommended it so many of our friends. It would have cost hundreds of pounds in therapy to get where I am. The group support and the information in the videos was brilliant.”

"Thank you so much - I’ve had countless counselling sessions and CBT but none of that worked. It wasn’t until I completed this course that I finally found at peace with regards to my Dad’s sudden death.”

The Revd Canon Archie Coates, Vicar of Holy Trinity Church, Brompton, where The Bereavement Journey was birthed: ‘I am delighted to endorse The Bereavement Journey - a course that has been hugely effective over the years both at HTB and beyond in helping people bereaved in a variety of ways cope with their grief. There are many in our communities who are living with unprocessed grief and this is a wonderful tool that will help many people.’

“We are only 4 weeks into our latest course but we have a wonderful story of a man who has isolated himself for 10 years since his wife’s death. He said that it has unlocked something inside and helped him start again.”
-
“We found the course to be really good; accessible, took people on a journey and gave them permission to grieve, slowly steering them onwards.”

I just needed to send you a message to say THANK YOU for the course! It is THE best thing I have come across in my ministry and it has so helped the participants. I am coming to the end of my first course and have two more in the pipeline and will run them regularly from now on. One participant says it is the best thing she has done and another has said that it has really helped her deal with her anger she realises she has been using to express her grief through for decades. The participants are full of praise for it and it has led to so many really good conversations. All the participants are planning on coming to the optional session. The videos are perfect, they have given people permission to experience their grief individually with no guilt or second guessing what they 'should' be feeling. It has been a real blessing and thank you to all the people who have made it happen.

I’ve pastored a few people who have completed the course especially after losing children through stillbirth and miscarriage, and the course has helped them immensely.

"I would just like you to pass on our sincere thank you to everyone involved in developing this course, and managing the process for the likes of us, with no professional experience, to deliver. For sure the preparation and delivery is made easy because of the material. And of course that helps us to really focus on the people in the room."
